
Barry MacLean is the Chairman of MacLean-Fogg Company. Barry received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dartmouth and a Master of Mechanical Engineering from Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College. He received a Doctor of Humane Letters Honorary Degree from Dartmouth College in 2010.
Barry MacLean served as a Dartmouth College Trustee from 1990-2000. He has served on the Thayer School of Engineering Dartmouth College Board of Overseers for over thirty-six years.
Barry is a member, director, and former chairman of numerous businesses and professional organizations. Civic interests include Trusteeships at Newberry Library, Museum of Science and Industry, University of Chicago Hospitals, and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association. He is former chairman of the Board of The School of the Art Institute and Vice Chairman of the Art Institute. He served for thirty-five years as elected trustee of the Village of Mettawa and fourteen years as mayor.
Barry has five children and twelve grandchildren.

Duncan MacLean is the great grandson of the founder of MacLean-Fogg. He joined MacLean-Fogg in 1996 as a manufacturing engineer in MacLean Power Systems and has been in his current position, President of MacLean-Fogg, since August of 2015, and Chief Executive Officer since November of 2017. He was elected to the MacLean-Fogg Board of Directors in 1998. Since joining MacLean-Fogg, Mr. Duncan MacLean has worked in seven (7) different business units, including 4.5 years living and working in Germany.
Duncan MacLean received a Bachelor’s Degree from Dartmouth College in 1994, a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree from Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering in 1995, a Master’s of Engineering Management degree from Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering in 1996, and an MBA in Finance from Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 2008.

Mike Isaacs is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MacLean-Fogg Company.
He is responsible for MacLean-Fogg’s overall financial and strategic management, including the company’s financial reporting, long-term business planning and operations oversight. Additionally, he oversees the company Controller, Corporate Development and Strategy, Procurement, Treasury, Internal Control and Tax functions.
Prior to joining MacLean-Fogg, Mike served as Finance Director of Mexico Operations for Cooper Tire and Rubber Company where he was responsible for two Mexican entities, a wholly-owned sales company and a majority-owned JV manufacturing company.
Prior to MacLean-Fogg, Mike also worked for Ford Motor Company for twenty years. Positions held included Manager of Corporate Strategic Planning, Controller of Stamping Operations, Product Development Controller for South American Operations and Vehicle Line Controller.
Mike received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
He enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Kristin Malbasa serves as the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at MacLean-Fogg, leading all facets of the HR function across the organization’s diverse manufacturing landscape. With over two decades of experience in strategic human resources management, Kristin is a driving force behind MacLean-Fogg’s commitment to fostering a culture that values integrity, people, customers, and stewardship—key pillars that define the company.
Kristin is known for her visionary leadership, emphasis on employee empowerment, and focus on employee development, diversity, and operational excellence. She believes empowering employees is the key to unlocking their full potential: “When we empower individuals to take ownership of their work, we not only elevate their performance but also enrich the entire organization.” Throughout her career, she has successfully spearheaded initiatives in talent acquisition, leadership development, and culture transformation, making a tangible impact on workforce engagement and retention. Kristin’s ability to balance business objectives with employee needs has made her a respected leader in the industry.
Outside of her professional role, Kristin is an advocate for continuous learning and community involvement. She believes in the power of mentorship and actively supports programs that help young professionals and emerging leaders build their careers. She also finds inspiration in her loving family—her husband and two children—who motivate her to make a positive impact in the workplace and beyond. Kristin loves Halloween, enjoys practicing Pilates, and is passionate about maintaining a healthy work-life balance. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations and is frequently invited to speak on leadership, workforce development, and HR transformation.

Sarah Ferrett is the Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) at MacLean-Fogg. She leads the company’s efforts in workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and corporate sustainability, ensuring these initiatives align with MacLean-Fogg’s overall business objectives. Working closely with executive leadership, general managers, and site-level EHS teams, Sarah is committed to fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across the organization.
Since joining MacLean-Fogg, Sarah has played a pivotal role in transforming the company’s approach to EHS. Prior to her leadership, EHS responsibilities were often shared among HR, Continuous Improvement, and Quality teams. Under her guidance, the function has matured into a structured, strategic discipline, with dedicated professionals at every site and a proactive safety culture. One of her most significant contributions has been the successful implementation of the DuPont STOP program, which has strengthened employee engagement in safety and risk prevention. She has also been instrumental in launching MacLean-Fogg’s sustainability strategy, positioning the company as an emerging leader in environmental responsibility within the automotive supplier space.
Before joining MacLean-Fogg, Sarah built her career in the automotive industry, holding various health and safety leadership roles. She began her career at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), where she led safety programs across multiple manufacturing environments, including stamping, assembly, and warehousing operations. She also contributed to vehicle safety design improvements, collaborating with engineers to enhance ergonomic and workplace safety considerations during the launch of new vehicle models.
As a leader, Sarah embraces servant leadership, prioritizing the growth and development of her team. She is passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where employees feel empowered to contribute ideas and drive meaningful change. She firmly believes that investing in people is key to long-term organizational success and takes pride in mentoring employees to help them reach their full potential.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Sarah is actively involved in industry groups such as the Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI), where she chairs the Safety Committee team and collaborates with other leaders to advance best practices in EHS. She is also deeply committed to sustainability and workforce development, championing initiatives that enhance both employee well-being and corporate environmental responsibility.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts, and cooking—a passion rooted in her Italian heritage. She and her family are avid music lovers, making concerts a frequent event in their lives. A strong advocate for prematurity awareness, she is actively involved with March of Dimes, organizing fundraisers and events to support families navigating the challenges of premature birth.
