October 1st through the 3rd, 2013, MPS exhibited at the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition, ICUEE, (pronounced “IQ”) tradeshow in Louisville, Kentucky. MPS has exhibited at this show for 15+ years and, once again, it was a huge success. The 2013 ICUEE was one of the largest ever, with registered attendance of more than 17,500, surpassing the last show, held in 2011.
ICUEE attracts utility contractors and municipalities involved in the electric, telecom, water/wastewater and gas industries. The show features informative seminars, over 800 exhibitors and many networking opportunities.
ICUEE is a great opportunity to meet customers, converse with product specialists, and learn what attracts their attention. At one point, a veteran lineman climbed on the base of one of the displays to reach products on top of a miniature pole. The display was a big hit throughout the show.
For some of the younger Product Managers and Engineers, this show was a good chance to get out in the field and talk with customers to hear their needs and requests directly. MPS product development works diligently to stay in touch with customers. The 20+ trade shows MPS attends each year, in addition to an experienced, involved sales force, allows MPS professionals to stay close to the customer and provide the products they need in a timely manner.
