MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions has been a member and involved in the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) for many years. OESA is a trade group representing, supporting and promoting suppliers to the automotive industry. With 450 member companies having global automotive sales exceeding $300 billion, OESA represents more than 70 percent of North American automotive supplier sales.
Each November, OESA holds their Annual Meeting and Outlook Conference. Over 700 executives from around the industry converge on Detroit for networking, official OESA business, and presentations. The Tuesday, November 12, 2013 conference featured executive speakers from General Motors, Honda, Toyota and Ford, as well as industry analysts, and several suppliers.
For the second year in a row, MFCS had a very high profile presence at the event by sponsoring the morning breakfast and displaying a trade show booth. Throughout the day, MFCS was promoted as a significant Tier 1 supplier to automakers, and a supplier and potential supplier to supply base executives. Throughout the day, MFCS management met with senior executives from Chrysler, Bosch, Jtekt, Dana, Linamar, Dayco and many other companies.
The OESA conference is a highly effective forum for promoting the MFCS brand and capabilities. MFCS management is looking forward to future OESA conferences.
